1980, 3 guys formed a band called Composition of Sound, Vince Clark, Martin Gore and Andrew Fletcher. And there was Daryl Bamonte, who supported from the very start setting up and taking down the equipment for the gigs… later in same year, when Dave Gahan joind the band, they renamed it to Depeche Mode… you heard about them? ;-) Daryl Bamonte worked for a long time for depeche mode, as roady, as road manager, as well as keyboarder on the US Tour 1994 when Fletch had to leave the tour. Later he also worked for The Cure… you may have heard of them as well ;-)
Christian Eigner, you may not have known, worked also for depeche mode – he has been performing in the live band since 1997, as drummer, occasional backing vocalist and, more recently, occasional keyboard player on 2009′s Tour of the Universe. He was also co-writer of a couple of songs.

Together with Florian Kraemmer these three formed Compact Space and their debut album will be released these days.

If you listen to depeche mode and/or The Cure or even like what Hurts currently does, Compact Space is definately enrichment. We are addicted:
